FIA-GT: Dubaï
De tijden van de shake-down gisteren vind je hier


Maserati neemt het voortouw weeral. Ze zijn daar hard aan het werken aan een nieuwe homologatie maar die auto hoort gewoon niet thuis in de hedendaagse GT1 klasse. Overlaatst foto's gezien van de auto zonder bepaalde carrosserie-onderdelen. Deed me akelig veel denken aan de Mercedes CLK GT1 en co. ... :s Die korte achtervleugel is anders ook geen zicht.

Zo weinig tijden van N-GT?

Maserati hoort inderdaad niet thuis in FIA GT. De Saleen eigenlijk ook niet, maar die hebben gewoon een minder groot budget.

Toch 10 N-GT's deze keer en in totaal 29 deelnemers. Niet slecht vind ik persoonlijk

ik denk eerder dat die test betalend geweest is. In Dubai volgen ze het Zolder principe

Saleen is toch ook een straatwagen die ontworpen is met in het achterhoofd om als racewagen te gebruiken. Hoeveel straat Saleens zijn er eigenlijk verkocht? Komen ze gemakkelijk aan de verplichte 25 exemplaren?

Bij de Maserati is het natuurlijk een stuk extremer: eerst race wagen en dan snel even een straatversie maken om mee te mogen doen.

Dat is de reden waarom ik vind dat een Saleen thuishoort in FIA GT.

Lopen ze daar 48 uur voor op onze tijd Op de woensdag zijn ze al bezig met de trainingen voor de vrijdag, de race van de zondag is op vrijdag...............

Door de week hebben ze daar al weekend........en dan nog eens het weekend erachteraan. Ik ga emigreren

Ik vind het ook raar. Misschien omdat dit weekend al F1 is... Ofwel religieuze redenen (bv. zondag complete rustdag)
