Een nieuwe GTP, een Mazda ????

De woorden Mazda en Endurance racen hebben elkaar de afeglopen maanden meerdere malen gekruist. Steeds in de speculatieve zin.............gaan we iets moois meemaken? En vooral, waar?

Sorry, maar dat is gewoon een oude GTP voor HSR (Historic Sportscar Racing). Ik snap de heisa hierrond niet echt.

Het zou maar eens kunnen dat Mazda een terugkeer naar Le Mans voorbereid en daarom een nieuwe wankelmotor aan het testen is in een stokoude groep C wagen... NOT

Die 2e en 3e foto laten duidelijk zien dat het niet om een moderne GTP gaat.


Er doen overigens al lang de geruchten dan Mazda met een LMP2 komt.

een wilde gok
de gele is een SPICE 88
de witte is een MAZDA 767 (jaar 89)
let vooral op de cijfers op de opgeklapte deur in foto 1
203 dit getal werd in dat jaar gebruikt door MAZDA in Le Mans
Voor zij die erbij waren REMEMBER THE SOUND!

Fameuze flater mijnerzijds. Ik was er niet bij, maar ik heb toch ergens al een filmke gezien en vooral gehoord van een 787B (ongeveer zelfde motor?)
Dat is toch de enige motor met 4 rotors zeker?
