24 uur van Dubai, 10-12 januari 2008.....de aanloop
Nog vele maanden te gaan maar in autosport stond nu al een voorlopige entrylist met daaruit uit België:

VDS Racing adventures,BMW
CEo racing, porsche
Antwerp race rent, porsche
Muehlner motorsport, 2x porsche
ADS racing, renault
First motorsport, 2x porsche
Prospeed competition, 2x porsche
Antwerp racing team, seat

Tijdens de twee 24-uurs races in het Midden-Oosten zien we de nieuwe wagen(s) van den Willie aan het werk. Moore International Motorsport is bezig met de bouw van een BMW E92 GTR, indien er nog teams zijn die zo'n E92 GTR willen? Den Willie heeft plek en tijd voor de constrcutie van een tweede wagen.

E.e.a. te lezen in de zoekertjes in Autosport.

Ben benieuwd. Wordt dit de eerste E92 "GTR"?
Zijn er meer teams (Duller, Scheid?) met de ontwikkeling bezig? (vast wel)

Audi CR-8

Hopelijk gaan we deze ook als full spec gt2 of gt3 auto aan het werk zien. i.i.g rijdt hij in de 24h of Dubaï.

De eerste was dus EMG met verdeelde reacties onder lezers van dit forum

Het nieuws heb ik ff gemist maar toch wel opmerkelijk dat deze wagen door een Nederlandse club is gemaakt/ontwikkeld/bedacht. De jongens van Creventic zijn aan de slag gegaan met dit model. Alweer een GeeeeeeeT-wagen uit Limburggggg Moet niet slecht gaan met Creventic BV als je een intiele investering kunt doen om twee van R8'jes aan te schaffen en dan ook nog eens om te bouwen naar een redelijke standaard spec-racer.

Hij is nu nog redelijk standaard. Ze willen het stap voor stap opbouwen.
Later komt er een sterkere motor, seq versnellingsbak, Carbon onderdelen, grotere tank etc.

Dankzij wat sponsoren uit Dubai?

Als ik me niet vergis heeft Creventic tot op heden enkel ervaring met wagens van het niveau SEAT Leon.

Op italiaracing.net staat te lezen dat Speedlover met een top line-up gaat starten in de 24uren van Dubai:
