Inderdaad, Michael Jordan van LMSR.net kiekte de wagen in Sebring. Michael was zo vriendelijk om eerst de spyker foto's aan www.racingworld.be ter beschikking te stellen, alvorens ze te publiceren op zijn eigen site. Thanks Michael !

M.b.t. de Spyker............lijkt wel zo'n Mazda MX5-cup van een par jaar terug

Is de wielbais van die wagen soms breder geworden? De omkasting van de wielen komt meer naar buiten dan het model uit 2002/2003

Ze willen deze wagen dus aan "privateers" gaan verkopen, vraag me af hoe ze zo'n wagen op twee wedstrijdjes kunnen ontwikkelen. Ontwikkelen is volgens mij veel (race)kilometers maken......dat ze die kist maar eens inzetten in nationale kampioenschappen

Ze zullen inderdaad meer moeten gaan racen om hem te ontwikkelen. Op de vrachtwagen (zie 1 van de foto's op www.lmsr.net) staat alleen Sebring en Le Mans. Er waren toch ook plannen om deel te nemen aan het Franse GT kampioenschap?

we zien wel wat spyker gaat presteren volgende week. nu moet hun doel niet meer uitrijden zijn maar nu verwacht ik wel wat van ze

Andere wagen met andere motor en weinig testkilometers. Uitrijden zal al een prestatie zijn, zou ik zeggen.

Ik begrijp niet goed waarom ze aan het prullen zijn geweest aan die motor.



Some red faced Brits...at tech today at Sebring the Maserati was in first followed by the Aston Martin cars...the Maserati sailed through and then the DBR9's took their turn in the IMSA tent. After measurements on the DBR9, IMSA was in the awkward position of telling them, "we are embarrased to inform you that your car is 3mm too wide." Although technically illegal we don't expect Maserati to file a formal protest against the Aston Martin cars Quite a few laughs in the paddock!

Vorige motor was een Maden/BMW V8. Nu hebben ze zelf de Audi 4.2 V8 (40 klepper) die standaard in de Spyker C8 Spyder steekt, wat gekitteld. Ik denk trouwens dat (volgens het reglement) van de originele motor vertrokken moet worden.

ze rijden alleen maar met die spider omdat ze dan geen extra handicaps hoeven mee te dragen. want die spyder verkoopt meer dan de dichte versie

Inderdaad, dat is volgens mij de redenen waarom ze voor de Spyder gekozen hebben.

Ben niet echt bijster enthousiast over dat nieuwe kleurtje van Alex Job, beetje goedkoop vies blauw dat. Vond het gele toch wat sjieker staan.
