Porsche Supercup met de 997 in 2005, hoeveel lage landers?
Hedenavond is bekend geworden dat Geoffroy Horion & David Dermont voor Lechner Motorsport zullen uitkomen in de internationale Porsche 997 Supercup. In het voorprogramma van de F1. De laatste jaren zien we toch een sterke stijging van het aantal lage landers in deze Cup.

Benieuwd wat de heren David Saelens, Patrick Huisman, Evert Kroon, Marcel Kessler, Simon Frederiks, Bleekemolens Senior en Sebastiaan Bleekemolen gaan doen in 2005 m.b.t. de Supercup 997.

2005 Porsche Supercup
Demo race dit weekend in Bahrain
en het zag er goed uit voor Saelens maar.

Die Fahrer auf den Rängen zwei bis zehn rücken entsprechend auf, womit der Brite Richard Westbrook von der Pole Position in das Rennen geht. Er teilt die erste Startreihe mit dem Deutschen Christian Menzel.

2. Patrick Huisman (NL), Lechner Racing School Team 1, 3.677 Sekunden zurück
10. David Dermont (MC), Lechner Racing School Team 2, 25.864
11. Simon Frederiks (NL), Jetstream Motorsport PZ Essen,

Uitgevallen:
Geoffrey Horion (MC), Lechner Racing School Team 2, 9 Runden
David Saelens (B), Pro Futura Racing Team Kadach, 7 Runden

op autosport.be stond dat de wagen achteraan 2mm te laag was en hij daardoor zijn tijd verloor, om zoiets al illegaal te noemen ...
spijtig want met een 2mm hogere wagen had hij zijn pole wel behouden me dunkt
en dan had hij geen oververhitting gehad omdat hij dan eerst reed en genoeg afkoeling kreeg, in het peleton rijden is altijd warmer hé

Nee, doet nog een of andere Zwitser mee met Jetstream. Vind ik overigens niet gek dat ze niet meedoen aan de Nederlandse cup. Als je al jaren rijdt op de Europese GP circuits heb je wellicht geen zin in die Zandvoorste circusvoorstelling waar gespot wordt met de veiligheid van coureurs
