Op autosport.com vond ik volgend artikel over Le Mans 2007 waarin ACO enkele dingen bekend maakte.

Ik denk dat de meeste nieuwtjes er in hier al wel gepasseerd zijn.

The construction includes the dismantling of the current four modular pits, which will be replaced with a new area that includes nine extra refuelling pits.

ACO said this change will enable the line-up of the starting grid for the 24-hour race to grow from 50 to 55.

Other construction work includes extension and improvements to the competitors' paddock; extension of the gravel trap at the Tertre-Rouge Curve; and construction of the Welcome Centre in the Village area.

The 2007 race will take place on 16-17 June, with the official test day held two weeks before, on June 3rd.

A scale model of the car is scheduled to be unveiled at the Paris Motorshow on September 28, before the V12 HDi engine has its first run on a test bed two days later.

Swiss Spirit is set to announce a replacement soon, and intends to compete in the Le Mans Series again next year.

Ik ben alvast benieuwd naar de look vh wapen van Peugeot om de strijd aan te gaan tegen de Audi R10 TDI. (Of zijn er al eerder foto's of tekeningen hier of daar uitgelekt? Ik heb alvast nog niks gezien.)

de Peugeot 908 zal in het autosalon te parijs gepresenteerd worden, allé de eerste tekeningen van de proto. we zullen dus tot november ongeveer moeten wachten totdat we de echte wagen te zien zullen krijgen.

Ook zal Peugeot in parijs zijn rijderstrio's bekend maken. geruchten : Olivier Panis / Emmanuel Collard / Nicolas Minassian en stephane Sarrazin (autosport magazine)

Sarrazin? Ben benieuwd of hij dit zal combineren met een Prodrive WRC en ALMS programma volgend jaar.

De Peugeot is wel een mooie deal voor hem...

Die 5 extra wagens op de grid, is het bekend welke type wagens het worden?
+ 1,2,3 LMP's? + 1,2,3 GT's? (hoop liefst op extra GT1's...)

Schrap die Lavaggi S1 maar, die homologatie verloopt op het einde van dit jaar al. (hoe slim van die mannen om de auto niet volgens de allernieuwste reglementen te bouwen)

Het is toch een wagen volgens LMP1 reglement (dus geen hybride)?

Lister toch in LMP1 klasse volgend seizoen (en dus geen nieuwe GT1?):
