Dus niet enkel in Spa een overwinning voor een 'kleine' wagen. De Audis zijn te kloppen, zoals je hieronder leest. DeBelgen deden het goed, Theys 3de en Saelens 5de.

That 675 Win!

Full report on Monday morning - but this was the result that many have been waiting for: a win, and a hard fought, genuine one, by a 675 MG-Lola, that of Butch Leitzinger and James Weaver.
Champion lost a lap with a suspected puncture, and it came down to Weaver versus Werner - and the Englishman passed the Audi and even eased away a touch in the closing laps, as traffic allowed.
Johnny Herbert took third at the last corner, from an aggressive Bill Auberlen in the Doran-Lista Dallara. Panoz were fifth and sixth, the second Dyson car seventh.
GTS was a 1-2 for Corvette Racing, with the Prodrive Ferraris delayed by minor bothers and a minor penalty, while GT changed hands at the post, as Lucas Luhr pipped the racelong leader, the #24 of Timo Bernhard. The Risi Ferrari was a competitive third (Borcheller and Lazzaro).
