Nog een groentje:
ECO Racing / Radical SR9 LMP1 => ze hopen op tickets voor Le Mans. Als bezoeker of als deelnemer? We zullen zien

Wel erg groen deze jongens, ze willen het volgende:
Ze starten met Shell GTL Diesel, voor het einde van het seizoen een mix van 50-50 biobrandstof. O.a. Jatropha olie.
livery op basis van waterverf ipv regulier verfsoorten.
Dunlop tyres na afloop recyclen.
Zonnepanelen op het bodywork voor bepaalde electrische circuits in de wagen.
Bodywork => 100% biodegradable hemp fibre 100% afbreekbaar in de natuur na 500 jaar ofzo?

Wie zit er achter dit verhaaltje? Ian Dawson.............die van de VW Tourareg op Le Mans een paar jaar terug. Kumpen was destijds fabriekspiloot

Ik vind er eigenlijk niet zoveel aan, vooral de neus niet! Mijn voorkeur gaat nog altijd uit naar de Epsilon Euskadi!

Misschien dat we hier wel topic kunnen over openen? Wat zijn de mooiste P1's, P2's, GT1's en GT2's?

Zo een topic van wat is de mooiste P1,P2,GT1,GT2 lijkt me nogal nutteloos.

Inderdaad aantrekkelijk gevormd, hoewel het valt af te wachten hoe de neus eruit zal zien zodra de verlichting een plaatsje gekregen heeft.

Opmerkelijk - en naar mijn smaak storend van opzij bekeken - is de ernorm brede A-stijl. Dat heeft de concurrentie (Peugeot, Lola en Epsilon Euskadi)toch wel wat eleganter opgelost.

En we hebben weer een art car, Oreca vond inspiratie bij Piet Mondriaan voor de livery van hun Courage LC70. Op z'n minst kleurrijk


nieuwe bron: endurance-info (de Nederlanders lopen ondanks bronvermelding niet graag te koop met Mondriaan, jammer )

Niet de eerste keer dat we Mondriaan als "sport-livery" zien, ergens in jaren tachtig reden Bernard Hinault en Greg Lemond in Mondriaan-truitjes de Tour uit.
