Williams-BMW driver Ralf Schumacher has revealed that he is considering wearing glasses in 2002 as he seeks to find an edge to win the World Championship.
The German told the BBC: "My eyesight really is still fine but I tried driving with glasses last week and it seems to be much better."
He added: "The thing now is to try them in testing and get used to them for the season. Hopefully, the glasses can help me close the gap on Michael a little bit so I can win more races."
"But Michael is definitely favourite for the title again."
Meanwhile Williams boss Frank Williams has said he is sure both Ralf and his team-mate Juan Pablo Montoya will win in 2002.
Williams said: "You can bet that these two will win races. They are both very strong, they both want to win, and with the right equipment they will win a lot of races next year."
