Dat gaat dus kopie worden van de Grand-Am Cup Series / SCCA Speed World Challenge gezien de wagens/fabrikanten die ze voor ogen hebben.

Dus toch een goed idee van Ratel

* Tevens gaat men werk maken van de GT3 klasse. GT3-Cups, 360 Modena's en AM DBRS 9 zijn de beoogde wagens voor deze klasse. De FIA gaat er streng op toezien dat de performance van de verschillende wagens gelijk is.....
Waar en hoe de GT3's zullen meerijden is nog niet bekend. Samen met de GT2's? Of tijdens dezelfde weekends maar met gescheiden races.....???????
Het wordt er niet overzichtelijker op...

25 GT1 auto's,
15-20 GT2 auto's (heb je toch minimaal nodig voor een leuke race)
en nog aantal GT3 auto's

Waar moet dit allemaal vandaan komen. Als er zoveel potentiele teams te vinden zijn, waarom doen die nu niet mee aan het FIA GT?

Omdat veel van die teams ofwel naar LMES zijn verhuisd of omdat GT racen heden ten dage duuuuurr is.

Ik bedoelde de GT3 klasse, niet de GT2. In die GT3 klasse zijn er vrijwel altijd close gevechten, GT3's, 360's, Marcos Mantissen, Lotus Elises, Morgans etc. En dan ook nog af en toe leuke projecten als die Vauxhal VX220 (Opel Speedster) en de Noble van Rollcentre. Ik denk dat die GT3 klasse in GB een succes te noemen valt.

staat iets raars in het FIA GT reglement :

Ratel is idd net zo veranderlijk als het weer

Volgens mij doet Ratel dit meer uit lijfsbehoud. Zonder TV kan hij zijn WK nooit realiseren. Dus het FIA GT en WTCC zijn even van tafel en bed gescheiden geweest en na een gesprek met de relatie-therapeut weer bij elkaar. In de Turkije de Wiedergutmachung tussen de kemphanen?

Wat dan met de kalender van de WTCC? Lijkt me niet dat de FIA GT op al die circuits gaat rijden.
