Btcc 2011
Ondanks dat het nieuwe jaar nog moet beginnen zijn er al behoorlijk wat bevestigingen (nog niet allemaal officieel):

2x Honda Racing (Dynamics) - Honda Civic (S2000 chassis + NGTC Honda motor)
2x Team AON (Arena) - Ford Focus ('11 model) (S2000 chassis + NGTC Ford motor)
2x of 3x Airwaves Racing (Motorbase) - Ford Focus (S2000 chassis + NGTC Ford motor)
1x AmD Milltek Racing - Volkswagen Golf (S2000 chassis + NGTC VW motor)
1x Dynojet - Toyota Avensis (NGTC chassis + NGTC spec motor)
1x of 2x Speedworks Motorsport - Toyota Avensis (NGTC chassis + NGTC spec motor)
1x of 2x Special Tuning Racing - SEAT Leon (S2000 chassis + NGTC SEAT motor)
1x of 2x Eurotech Racing - Vauxhall Vectra (S2000 chassis + NGTC spec motor)
2x Rob Austin Racing - Audi A4 (NGTC chassis + NGTC motor)

Het ziet er al goed uit voor 2011.

Dat begint er inderdaad goed uit te zien, en we zijn nog maar december. Op naar het openingsweekend in Brands Hatch begin april!

Op autosport.com een afbeelding van hoe de Audi A4 er moet uitzien. Is sinds 1998 geleden dat er nog een Audi deelnam aan het BTCC, met ondermeer Yvan Muller.

Die Audi is gewoon een Superstars Audi. Dus wat betreft uiterlijk van de wagen zou ik zou daar verder geen conclusies aan verbinden.

Staat nochtans onder het plaatje "an artist's impression of what the machines will look like."

de audi is inderdaad gephotoshopte internation V8 audi. Duidelijk te zien aan de koplampen die van een ander model audi zijn dan de rest van de audi.

Waarschijnlijk zien we dit jaar ook nog Proton in het BTCC. Welch Motorsport zet een NGTC-spec versie in van het Gen-2 model, mogelijk komen er in de toekomst meer wagens.
