Dat is minder Als alles doorgaat, geen Goossens in de Belcar..........wat gaat Hart dan doen? Die wil alleen maar met iemand rijden die significant sneller is dan hijzelf. Zie zijn interview in de Start van twee maanden terug

Ik vind het een spijtige zaak voor de BELCAR maar anderzijds moet je als Mark Goossens toch meer ambitie hebben dan in de Belcar blijven rond te toeren.

Een verstandige zet volgens mij van Goossens (met zo'n campagne moet ie immers geen 2, 3 jaar meer wachten) Anderzijds de Grand AM is nu ook niet de meest fantastische serie over de Plas - buiten Daytona dan.

inderdaad, ALMS heeft misschien een uiterlijk mooier veld, maar Grand AM is wel de succesrijkste van de 2

Zo'n groot succes? - Ik heb eens gekeken naar het deelnemersveld. toch ook maar 28 wagens in de laatste race. Het zelfde aantal als laatste wedstrijd ALMS.
Maar de kwaliteit in ALMS ligt toch een pak hoger. In Grand AM (als je eenmaal verder kijkt dan die Pontiacs, rileys dan wordt het veld gevuld met Cup Porsches.
Tegenover ALMS - daar heb je in het achterveld toch een pak sterkere wagens.

Over bezoekersaantallen heb ik geen idee-maar op de foto's te zien valt het al bij al mee maar zeker geen overrompeling.

Daarenboven is de ALMS in Europa toch een pak bekender als GRAND Am.

Het is dan inderdaad wel jammer dat hij geen Belcar meer zou rijden, maar anderzijds zou ik hem toch liever in de Grand Am series zien pronken.

Ik ga naar Watkins Glen voor de Busch series, was al gepland. Eerst Brickyard 400 in Indianapolis en daarna door naar Watkins Glen.
Komt wel goed uit nu dat Marc daar rijdt...

vandaag nog een sms gehad van Marc.
Donderdag 12 januari, morgen dus, zou de eerste serieuze dag voor hem worden in Sebring.
Hij is in ieder geval onder de indruk van de "NASCAR" wereld.
