Wist ik het maar. Als één van de weinige supporters die GEEN Frans vloeiend begrijp, heb ik dit gebeuren gezien en aangehoord. Weglopen durfde ik niet meer, dat viel namelijk zo ontzettend op...

Maar de presentatie ging dus geheel in het Frans. Er zal wel een verslagje op z'n site komen...

Ik heb er alvast nog wat boeken gekocht voor de collectie, o.a. een boekje over Philippe Streiff, over het circuit van Charade en eentje over Matra.

Waarschijnlijk was Brussel dan de enige plaats waar men uitgebreid publiciteit heeft gevoerd voor deze Euro Racing Show . De algemene indruk van de standhouders is dat er echter zeer weinig NATIONALE bekendmaking is geweest voor het gebeuren, met als resultaat een vrij povere publieke opkomst. Daarenboven kampt de racing show in Brussel met een nogal negatief verleden. De nieuwe organisator kon dit jaar echter wel uitpakken met enkele knappe specials, mooie bolides en een goede indeling van de beurshal. Kortom: kwaliteit van de racing show was OK, enkel het publiek ontbrak .

Inderdaad, kwaliteit was aanwzezig maar zeer weinig volk. Wat de fotografen onder ons natuurlijk toeliet om mooie plaatjes te maken.

Hopelijk organiseren ze het volgend jaar terug.

DVD collectie ook wat aangevuld

Idd niks gezien van pub de laatste maanden, niet op de classic salons van Gent en A'pen, niets op autosportevents, nauwelijks berichtgeving op de diverse auto(sport)sites... Flyers en affiches zijn nochtans gauw verspreid dacht ik... als je volk wil moet je pubiciteit maken.

De wagens die er stonden was de moeite. En zoals reeds door velen gezegd: er mocht wat meer vollk zijn. Maar dit moet volgens mij groeien door mondelinge reklame achteraf.
Wat ik wel raar vond was de afwezigheid van standen van racetoebehoren (op enkele kleine na). Ik was (samen met nog een racegek ) op zoek naar een Hans-systeem + bijhorende helm, maar niks gevonden.

awel ik was er niet naar op zoek maar heb er wel 1 gevonden. (Wie niet zoekt die vindt ? ) Op de stand van Turbo magazine verkochten ze er.
