Heb Marc die donderdag nacht nog gehoord. Alles was heel goed verlopen en zowel hij als het team waren heel tevreden.

Zo goed zelfs dat ze met Marc minder gaan testen en iets meer met de andere piloten (door de beperkte testdagen) aangezien die nog wel wat snelheid kunnen gebruiken.
Marc is nu wel aan het proberen om eventueel buiten de twee races op gewone circuits ook nog de mogelijkheid te krijgen om een race op een oval te rijden. Maar dat zal de toekomst moeten uitwijzen.

Klopt inderdaad, de andere piloot was gecrasht tijdens de eerste testdag op een ovaal. Hopelijk mag Marc snel al eens van zo'n ovaal proeven.

Hopen dat Marc nu ook niet crasht he.
Want daar in die Nascar wordt toch wel wa kapot gerden ze.
Dat lijkt daar soms wel een destrution derby

Wellicht enkele leuke sparringpartners voor Goossens in de Nascar Bush races. Paul Tracy gaat er vijf doen.......maar welke is nog niet bekend. De andere Europeaan die op het punt staat om te gaan rijden in de Bush-klasse is Sebastien Bourdais.

Tracy heeft zijn eerste race in de Bush serie erop zitten, zijn prestaties geven aan hoe hoog het nivo ligt binnen deze klasse. Zijn kwalificatietijd was goed voor een 37ste plaats op de Daytona oval op deelnemersaantal van 43.

Uiteindelijk 24ste geworden........

Morgen begint Marc's grootste uitdaging. Vrijdag zijn er 3 test sessies in Mexico.
Op zaterdag zijn er dan de kwalificaties en zondag is er de race om 20u onze tijd.
De race wordt niet live uitgezonden op motors tv.
Hier in de WHEELS gaan we volgen via de track pass van NASCAR.com (live speaker van MRN radio en leaderboard)


Marc is sinds vorige week ginder en was afgelopen weekend te gast bij zijn team in Californië voor de tweede manche van het kampioenschap. Voor de tweede keer bleef de #90 niet gespaard van schade. Elliot Sadler heeft er nog niet veel geluk mee gehad.

Allemaal duimen voor Marc !
