Marc Goossens rijdt dit weekend terug in de Grand-am.
De Sahlen's Six Hours of the Glen op het circuit van Watkins Glen.
Hij rijdt samen met Milka Duno en Stefan Johanson.

Hij staat nog niet op de deelnemerslijst maar die is nog nie kompleet.
Maar de Grand-am race wordt zaterdag gereden om 20.30u belgische tijd.

The defendants in the case have filed an appeal, which will be heard on Friday morning. A decision is expected by midday on Friday.

Ze hebben zich als 23e gekwalificeert.

Pos No. Class Driver Team Car Best Lap Speed
23 11 DP Duno/ Goossens/ Johansson CITGO Racing by SAMAX Pontiac Riley 1:53.065 108.256

Het was blijkbaar geen kwalificatie gewoon een training. De start positie wordt bepaald door de stand in het kampioenschap.
Ze staan nl.15e.

Allé, de safety car is nu net weer binnen en Marc zit momenteel achter het stuur en hangt 11de. Hij had eerst het stuur mooi in 2de positie aan Johansson overgegeven maar hij viel jammer genoeg zienderogen achteruit. Hopelijk kan Marc nog een aantal plaatsen goedmaken, maar ik vrees ervoor aangezien het nog 30 minuten duurt... Milka heeft trouwens niet zo lang gereden vind ik... Enkel haar minimumtijd dacht ik...

En ze zijn 11de geworden. Echt jammer want Marc draaide zeer snelle tijden, laatste half uur zelfs 2de snelste tijd, maar een extra safety car gooide roet in het eten, want die duurde zowaar tot het einde van de race.

Hij heeft alvast zijn kunnen weer bewezen.

Hij is nog terug gekomen tot de 3de plaats toen stuur overgegeven aan Duno.
Maar hebben daarbij een ronde verloren.
