Wordt steeds ingewikkelder, als dit maar goed afloopt.
Tony Fernandes is in een hevige strijd verwikkeld met David Hunt, de broer van voormalig F1-kampioen James Hunt en tevens de eigenaar van de naam 'Team Lotus'.

Fernandes heeft al een achterpoortje gevonden moest het helemaal mis lopen met de Lotus affaire, dan krijgen we Team Caterham in de Formule 1?

Wat een soap.

Waarom niet gewoon Fernandes Grand Prix Team of Team Malaysia (of zoiets)? Een kleine fabrikant als Caterham opkopen en daar het team naar noemen is ook zo kunstmatig.

Voorlopig blijft het nog Team Lotus in de Formule 1, het GP2 team van Fernandes wordt wel al omgedoopt naar GP2 Team Caterham.

De rechter heeft uitspraak gedaan, beide teams mogen de naam Lotus blijven behouden. Is dus kleine overwinning voor Fernandez op Proton, dat hem wou verbieden de naam nog te gebruiken.

Voor al de rest heeft group Lotus wel gewonnen. Fernandez moet zelfs schadevergoeding betalen.
