Op racingworld.be is te lezen dat de LMES voor komend seizoen van 4 wedstrijden van 1000km wilt over schakelen naar 5 wedstrijden van 1000km. Dit komt door het groeiend succes van dit kampioenschap.

Daar zijn geruchten over geweest dat ORECA dat zou doen. maar is er nu al iets bevestigd?

Audi France heeft in een Franse krant min of meer bevestigd dat ze 1 wagen inzetten. Wie de wagen zal runnen (ORECA waarschijnlijk) en de piloten is nog niets bekend.

op www.pitstoptv.be staat nu te lezen dat Oreca met één R8 gaat aantreden in Le Mans, als voorbereiding staat waarschijnlijk de 1000 km van Spa op het programma!!

Volgens www.planetlemans.com is het eveneens bevestigd dat de door Oreca ingezette Audi R8 in de kleuren van Playstation zal aantreden. Wat gaat nonkel Henri daar van zeggen

Ik zie die nieuwe livery van de R8 al zo voor me, als ze de traditie een beetje willen volgen. Dat wordt ongetwijfeld een van de mooiste uitvoeringen van de R8. Totnogtoe ging mijn persoonlijke voorkeur uit naar de Champion en de Gele Goh.

De bemanning zou uitstluitend uit Franse piloten bestaan, begin alvast maar te gokken.

Er is ook ook Gulf uitvoering geweest van de R8.

Ik hoop dat de uiteindelijke livery toch meer geïnspireerd zal zijn op de Oreca-Dallara's van enkele jaren terug, want dit is niet bepaald wat ik in gedachten had.
