mogelijk komt Rosberg niet in de 'invitation class' in actie maar vervangt hij Rob Austin (gebroken hand) en zal hij dus ook voor de punten kunnen gaan.

Hij komt helemaal niet...officieel vanwege de nasleep van bronchitis. Officieus vanwege het feit dat hij een voorwaardelijke straf heeft staan wegens wat acties en een 'fout' op Spa levert mogelijk een schorsing op.

P.S. gaan er nog Nederlanders die kant op (vrijdagavond/zaterdag ochtend) ?

LAST MINUTE - 1000 Km van Spa

Er zijn nog 6 bedden vrij in ons huis in Stavelot.
Mogelijkheid tot overnachting:
vrijdag »» zaterdag en zaterdag »» zondag
Prijs: 10 euro per nacht pp
excl. ontbijt
Meebrengen: Slaapzak en- of beddengoed

(only for dePaddock members)

Geen Stealth tijdens de 1000

tijdens het eurogt weekend hebben ze ook zo'n omstreden dubbel gedaan. Ze verloren ongeveer een halve minuut.

Belle couverture de la RTBF

Habituée des grands rendez-vous de la fin du mois d’août, la RTBF fournira un effort particulier pour couvrir comme il se doit la renaissance des 1000 Km de Spa. Ainsi, Gaëtan Vigneron, le commentateur des Grands Prix, sera sur place le dimanche pour assister à la course et interviendra plusieurs fois en direct. Dans le JT de 12h45 pour le départ, vers 16h et 17h dans Sports à la Deux pour faire des points sur la course, puis vers 18h00 pour l’arrivée.
Une intervention en direct depuis Francorchamps est également prévue – avec un résumé de la course - dans le week-end sportif à partir de 18h30 sur la Une, avec un rappel dans le JT de 19h30 plus un reportage de 10 à 12’ diffusé le dimanche soir après la rediffusion du journal.
Enfin, le dimanche suivant, l’émission Sports à la Deux proposera un résumé complet de 26’ sur les 1000 km de Spa.

The organisers of the FIA Sportscar Championship together with the circuit of Spa Francorchamps are offering members of the media and public the chance to experience the magic of this classic Ardennes track at high speed as part of the activities surrounding the Spa 1000km this coming weekend.

With support for all the series partners the 2 Lotus Elise safety cars used in the championship will give each passenger the thrill of a quick lap at the hands of some of the best drivers in the business.

The hot laps of Spa have been organised in support of the Association Belge des Maladies Neuromucularies, a leading national childrens charity who will benefit directly from all proceeds raised from businesses and passengers on the day.

Rides will take place between 14.00 and 15.00 CET at Spa Francorchamps, from pit lane, no need to bring a helmet..just bring 20 Euros and enjoy the ride.

The organisers of the FIA Sportscar Championship would like to extend its grateful and warm thanks to all the staff and volunteers at Spa Francorchamps, without whose kind help this event would not be possible
