Defecte motor? Dat is geen klein probleem meer. De eerste kwalificatie zit erop.................er is vandaag wel nog een afsluitende training.

Uitslag kwalificatie I:
1: DP01, 1.46.928 o.a. Briscoe aan het stuur!!
6: DP20, 1.47.528 o.a. Lammers
9: DP39, 1.47.968 o.a. Goossens
10: DP77, 1.48.022 o.a. Theys

De eerste 9 op één seconde voor een endurance race, dat gaat wat beloven. Deze editie kon weleens een klasieker gaan worden, France-tactics beginnen hun vruchten af te werpen.

Klopt, maar op die ene link kun je het verloop van de training beter "analyseren" Iets voor cijfertjes-freaks

Slecht nieuws, diskwalificatie van de tijden voor de Porsche 996 GT3 Cup van EBI Motors. De wagen van Vincent Vosse..........ze mogen nu starten als 62ste. Ze wat liggen te rotzooien met de splitter van de wagen.........uitgebreid verhaal te lezen op www.turbomagazine.com

Het koningskoppel uit 1988, Lammers / Wallace met teammaat Nascar topper Stewart, ligt na bijna 9 uur koers op kop. Maar hoe! Er zijn nog 7 deelnemers in dezelfde ronde!! De volgende 6 zijn ook nog binnen het bereik van de eerste plaats als er kleine problemen opduiken bij de eerste 7.

Een regelrechte sprintkoers over 24 uur gaat dit worden. Theys ligt op 7de plaats. Goossens 22ste, die wagen lag na de start 2de...........daar moet dus iets gebeurd zijn. Even zoeken op de site van Grand-Am.

Sluzny 33ste, Vosse 23ste algemeen en 5de in de klasse.........niet slecht als je als laatste moet starten vanwege een "technische" diskwalificatie.

Ik denk dat Autofan bedoelt dat de Red Bull Porsche van Vosse in aanraking is gekomen met #59. De Red Bull Porsche van o.a. Vosse draagt namelijk zelf het nummer 51

Na dik 17 uur ligt Lammers / Wallace / Stewart op kop met 2 ronden voorsprong op de nr. 2 Er beginnen nu wat rondes verschil te komen tussen de verschillende plaatsen in de top 10. Theys ligt derde op 4 rondjes.

Een succes voor Jantje zou mooi zijn na een jaartje zakelijke miserie.
