Ik keek geen NASCAR tot Montoya kwam dus voor mij draait het tot nu toe alleen even om Montoya. Maar wat je zegt als ik hem even weglaat is het wel een redelijke race.

Kleine kettingbotsing. De race is 3 ronden voor het einde stilgelegd met een rode vlag om de brokstukken op te ruimen. Er zal opnieuw worden gestart en er worden enkele ronden extra gereden om onder groen te kunnen eindigen.
Nu krijgen de piloten al een drinkbus aangeboden

Megacrash in Turn 4 tijdens de laatste ronde. Zelfs een wagen op zijn dak! Hij gaat over de finish op zijn dak en in 18e positie
Harvick wint zijn eerste Daytona 500 met 0,02 seconde voorsprong op Martin.
