Het lijkt mij onlogisch een nieuwe auto te bestellen als de nieuwigheden toch gewoon als losse upgrades te koop zijn. Ik ben er dus vrij zeker van dat Prospeed geen nieuw chassis zal kopen.

Om even orde op zaken te stellen, de RSR 2007 staat te koop omdat we dus weldegelijk een 2008 besteld hebben. De upgrades zijn te duur om als losse onderdelen te bestellen.

Verder zijn er 2 GT3's 2008 op komst.

Een beetje uitleg kan soms geen kwaad om eventuele misverstanden te vermijden.

Dat is dan wel tegen Porsches gewoonte om die losse upgrades zo duur te maken of niet?

Vertaling via google van het oorspronkelijke bericht in het Italiaans naar het Engels is verre van foutloos maar bovenstaande quote gaat volgens mij over het aanzien dat o.a. deze races in China hebben verkregen over de laatste jaren. En niet over het feit dat Mastercar komend jaar deze races in de planning heeft opgenomen.

In datzelfde artikel wordt wel melding gemaakt dat "On the European front .... a program with the new F430 will be deployed in the Italian GT Championship and probably in other races to be determined." (bron: www.racingworld.it).

Allemaal nogal vrijblijvend dus vooralsnog.

Als we zo blijven verder gaan dan gaan we weer wat Saleens aan de start krijgen.

De kans zit er in dat PK met een Saleen komt.

Ook kan RBimmo-Racing terug komen en dan nu ook nog ARC Bratislava.

Groot nieuws: Kronos komt terug met 2 Porsche 997 GT3 op groene benzine (benzine+methanol). Hun seizoen draait rond de 24 uren van Spa, er staat namelijk geen enkele andere race op het programma

't Zal één van de blikvangers worden denk ik...
