Fässler/Belicchi/Prost op de LMP1 Lola-Aston Martin en Pompidou/Kane/Leuenberger op de LMP2 Lola-Judd.

De inzet van 2 LMP's heeft echter gevolgen voor het Spyker programma, m.a.w. geen Speedy Spyker meer. Je kon ook moeilijk verwachten dat een privé-team in deze moeilijke tijden 3 wagens in 3 verschillende klassen kan prepareren.

Verder kunnen we ook melden dat Virgo Motorsport 2 Ferrari's zal inzetten. De eerste onder Virgo Motorsport met de Broers McInerney, de 2de onder de naam "Team JMW", met Rob Bell als eerste rijder. Beide wagens zullen op Dunlop's rijden.

Garcia en Fassler naar GM/Corvette voor Sebring en Le Mans?

Natuurlijk is dat leuk nieuws, maar als je het artikel helemaal leest zal je merken dat de deal helemaal nog niet rond is, niet met Gulf en al evenmin met Lola. Het nieuws circuleert trouwens al enkele dagen op het forum van ten-tenths. Men kan zich terecht de vraag stellen of Lola wel zoveel chassis klaar krijgt tegen het seizoensbegin, er is immers ook nog het onbevestigde gerucht over de Charouz Lola Audi.
Voorlopig dus wishful thinking, maar dan wel van een aangename soort
En van mij mogen ze er allemaal bij zijn

Het verhaal staat ook te lezen in de Autosport van 15-01. Een van de bronnen die daarin genoemd worden is Frederic Dor! Niet de minste gezien zijn banden met Prodrive / Ferrari 550 en AM DBR9. Een van de oorzaken waarom e.e.a. nog niet officieel bekend is zijn de problemen waarin AM op dit moment zit. O.a. 600 man op straat, zie http://business.timesonline.co.uk/to...cle5536941.ece

En wat betreft Albers z'n kansen. Die schat ik laag in want ik kan me voorstellen dan Audi haar fabriekscoureurs uitleent aan Kolles.

Ik ben benieuwd wie de kosten gaat betalen om de R10 aan het reglement van dit jaar (kleinere achtervleugel en restrictor) aan te passen.

Ik weet niet of we dat allemaal wel willen weten.Verbaas me alleen dat Audi zaken blijft doen met een persoon die toch als discutabel bekend staat. In Nederland komt die Kolles volgens mij niet door de wet Bibob heen En niet alleen Audi, vroeger al met MB in de F3.

De beste man moet toch op bepaalde vlakken een genie zijn. Kwaliteit hebben zijn teams in de F3 en DTM nooit laten zien. En toch, altijd goede contracten en contacten.

Lijkt me wel de ideale set-up voor Audi om via de zijkant een "tweede fabrieksteam" op Le Mans actief te hebben.
