Tijdens SS2 heeft Gronholm remproblemen en verliest hij meer dan 1 minuut. Het lijkt tussen Loeb en Solberg te zullen gaan. Rovanpera behaalt trouwens scratch in SS2.

McRae was trouwens tijdens de eerste speciaal trager dan zijn protege Kris Meeke

Wow, McRae kan het nog altijd (zelfs met een mindere wagen): 6de tijd tijdens SS3. Hierdoor springt hij van plaats 15 algemeen naar 9. Benieuwd of hij in loop van de weekend nog hogerop kan klimmen.

McRae is terug naar plaats 15 gedegradeerd nadat hij bij de start van SS5 zijn motor liet stilvallen

Alle Citroëns zijn weer in topvorm. 'k vermoed dat de Pirelli's het een beetje laten afweten. Wel jammer van Gronholm zijn remproblemen gisteren, maar 'k zie hem nog de 2de plaats pakken.

Was wel ff slikken toen ik net de laatste niewtjes op pitstoptv.be aan't lezen was
Volgens rally-live.com zat hij gekneld en kon niet meteen bevrijd worden ...

En hij laat een vrouw en twee kinderen achter ...
De rally is ook stilgelegd, geen champagne op het podium zo dadelijk (+- 14u) en ook geen persconferentie (eurosport.com)

Net het nieuws gehoord.
Daar word je toch wel heel stil bij.
We zijn weer even met de harde werkelijkheid geconfronteerd : het gevaar blijft altijd meespelen in de autosport.
