bwa ze zullen der wel komen zene,

maar eigenlijk had ik dit al wel voelen aankomen!!! Er waren nog maar 4 clubs, Reynard was nog niet zo lang bezig aan de 1-zitter, en zo nog van die factoren!!

Opnieuw vertraging Premier 1

Vorige week vroeg de constructeur Reynard surséance van betaling aan. De onderneming zucht onder een zware schuldenlast en wil daarom honderd werknemers ontslaan. De megaorder voor de fabrikage van alle chassis voor Premier 1 was de laatste strohalm voor de legendarische constructeur. Het eerste uitstel van Premier 1 was voor Reynard de druppel die de emmer deed overlopen. Nu voeren de organisatoren van het nieuwe kampioenschap het omvallen van Reynard aan als excuus voor een nieuw uitstel.

Marketing directeur Christian Scholbrock blijft geloven in Premier 1. "Geloven jullie echt dat er geen alternatief plan is voor de Reynard-situatie?", hield hij de pers voor. "Dat Reynard in surséance gaat, betekent nog niet dat ze op houden te bestaan."

"Er is veel vooruitgang geboekt met de ontwikkeling van de auto voor Premier 1. We zien graag dat die wordt voortgezet, zodat de start van de races in 2003 niet in het gedrang komt. De berichten over de huidige financiële situatie bij Reynard spijten ons oprecht en we hopen dat de onderneming in staat is om een oplossing te vinden."

Overigens kan de situatie bij Reynard een buitenkans zijn voor investeerder Charles Nickerson. Nu die het Formule 1-debuut van Phoenix of DART zag stranden, kan hij nu met het ontwerp van de Prost AP05 onder de arm naar Premier 1.

niet alleen Premier, maar wat dacht je van Panoz en Riley & Scott (Goossens).....es kijken hoe dat verder gaat.

Cart.....daar staat dallara te trappelen, voor de FNippon zou Lola vanaf 2004 een one-make serie worden

Die auto lijkt wel sterk op een gemodificeerde ChampCar Panoz DP01?
Ik geloof zelfs dat ik die ooit eens op preview-foto's van ChampCar heb zien staan, kan mis zijn..

Wat staat hier in praktijk? In theorie heel veel teams die een graantje willen meepikken, in praktijk dus 0 bevestigingen voor een deelname

f*ck|ng Champions League gedoe in F1 vorm... ja, daar zat ik nu net op te wachten.

De doorsnee F1 fan is nog slechts met enige moeite te onderscheiden van een doordeweekse voetbalfan. Als ze die historie nu ten top drijven dan zitten we straks op de tribune met een sixpack van het bekende liga-bier, te zwaaien met een grote vlag en bengaals vuur en kloppen we de mede-hooligan van de naaste tribune op zijn gezicht omdat hij het verkeerde 'premier league' sjaaltje om heeft (om nu maar eens alle stereotiepen op één rijtje te zetten.

Neen, heren dames, als dit bewerkelijkt wordt en de autosport richting voetbalstadium opschuift, dan zweer ik het.... dan kap ik ermee. Dan ga ik 's zondags in mijnen hof zitten met een biertje, de mp3 in mijn oren en ga ik leuk in het zonnetje liggen kijken naar het geboomte. That's a promise.

Can I join the club?

Ik denk er net zo over als Buchinski. Op andere forums heb ik dit ook geventileerd en ook al redelijk wat tegenwind gekregen.
Maar ik ben vooral blij dat ik iet alleen sta met mijn gedacht.
