Mclaren MP4-12C GT3
Blijkbaar test McLaren al met z'n gloednieuwe GT3. Piloot van dienst is Chris Goodwin, vroeger nog testpiloot van Ferrari. Om onduidelijke redenen wordt daarom vermoed dat McLaren naar GT3 komt om Ferrari (458 Italia) te verslaan.

Zoals algemeen geweten werkt McLaren samen met CRS, maar mag ik ook hopen dat de auto reeds in de loop van 2011 te zien zal zijn? Lijkt me een beetje sterk om een GT3 16 maanden te testen...

EDIT: Test McLaren de GT3 of de roadversie???

Is voor 2012.

Plan on seeing the GT3 version compete in the 2012 race season while the GT2-spec car should be set to go in time for the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2013.

McLaren heeft de plannen voor zijn GT racer vandaag voorgesteld, bedoeling is inderdaad om in 2012 mee te doen aan het FIA GT3. Over een GT2 versie wordt niets meer vermeld.

De McLaren GT3 gaat voor het eerst de baan op begin maart, rond die tijd krijgen we ook medegedeeld welke races op het programma staan in 2011. (autosport.com)

Blijven hopen dat we die wagen te zien krijgen in België dit jaar!

Blijkbaar is er toch al wat meer nieuws over het programma van de MP4-12C. De wagen rijdt -niet verwonderlijk- de Blancpain Endurance Series! Nu nog hopen op een entry in Spa.

In hetzelfde artikel staat ook dat het er niet goed uit ziet voor de Nissan GT3, maar die info is compleet suggestief, vind ik. Het bericht dat de Nissan de 24u zou rijden werd namelijk 3-4 weken na de ramp in Japan de wereld in gestuurd... (ik refereer naar het artikel op turbomagazine).

Ondertussen staat er een reactie van Nismo (Nissan) bij de tekst (d.d. vandaag!)
