Garantie krijg je nergens, maar het is en blijft toch indrukwekkend om het ter plekke te aanschouwen, zeker als je DTM gaat vergelijken met andere kampioenschappen.

DTM moet het dit jaar trouwens hebben van succes ballast om het veld wat gelijkwaardiger te maken. Niet echt technologische inovatie

Waarom verkopen MB en Audi hun wagens (2004 modellen) niet aan privateers?

Dus in 2006:
MB: 4x 2006 wagens (fabrieks)
MB: 4x 2005 wagens (privateers/semi-fabrieks)
MB: 4x 2004 wagens (privateers)

Audi: 4x 2006 wagens (fabrieks)
Audi: 4x 2005 wagens (privateers/semi-fabrieks)
Audi: 4x 2004 wagens (privateers)
-------------------------------------------------- +
24 wagens

Maar ik denk eigenlijk dat Audi vanwege hun Le Mans project niet echt geinteresseerd is in het inzetten van zoveel wagens komend seizoen.

Ik ging er bij mijn "berekening" meer van uit dat er geen Opels ingezet worden. Dus Audi en Mercedes leveren wagens aan privateers ipv Opel.

Kortnieuws: Mercedes heeft Heinz-Harald Frentzen laten weten dat er voor hem geen plaats is in hun DTM team volgend jaar (bron: autosport.com)

Als er ergens stoeltjes vrijkomen dan zal dit vooral bij Audi zijn. Ik verwacht dat de meesten terug naar het LMP project gaan. Bij Mercedes komt denk ik alleen de plaats van Alesi vrij.

die plaats van alesi zal vast wel naar spengler gaan dan.
tja fassler bij audi.. hah dan is hij al bij alle 3 merken geweest !

Capello, Kristensen, McNish en eventueel Kaffer zullen wel met de Audi R10 gaan racen. Misschien maakt Ekstrom een overstap naar rally.

Ik gok dat Audi zijn officiele DTM campagne zal stoppen en Abt zal ondersteunen.

Als ik alle doem-geluiden mag geloven van onze Oosterburen dan zijn er volgend jaar helemaal geen Mercedes-zitjes meer. Bij MB moeten er dik 7000 man weg.....dan kun je het raceprogramma moeilijk verantwoorden als je daarmee doorgaat. Dat hebben we bij Opel ook gezien vorig jaar

Bij Opel heeft GM ingegrepen, echter Mercedes is nog (redelijk) eigen baas in huis.

Dat nieuws kun je op twee manieren lezen Als het lukt om met de Sjeik tot een overeenkomst te komen dan blijft het DTM bestaan..............anders is het "end of story". Want een serie die mondiaal gaat staat haaks op eerdere uitspraken van de ITR. Ze zullen wellicht wel moeten i.p.v. considering
