Ford GT 40 Trophy in België in 2005 ?

- V8 5,7 liter met 425 PK

- eerste test : deze winter
- doel : vanaf 2005 in België met enkele uiststappen naar buitenland
- later een Europese challenge
- Marc Soulet levert wagen, motor en versnellingsbak gelood
- huurder doet onderhoud en test
- 75000 € per wagen per seizoen bij inschrijving voor 2 jaar
- na twee jaar is de auto jouw eigendom (kit bijgeleverd om er terug een straatversie van te maken)
- 1250 € voor de winnar van een race, 20.000 € voor de kampioen
- selectieprocedure voor een - 23 jarige ligt ter studie
Lijkt nogal op de Porsche Roadster Challenge in de Rally. Als je ziet dat Future World er ongeveer 3 jaar nodig heeft gehad om het project te krijgen tot wat het nu is, zie ik Soulet er op één jaar niet in slagen dit uit de grond te stappen.

Kijk er trouwens ook met gemengde gevoelens naar. Een zoveelste Monomerken Cup met enorme ambities.

In welke kalender gaat men dit inpassen ??? We zullen Zolder de volgende donderdagen in de gaten moeten houden. Indien de testen daar zouden plaatsvinden. Ze kunnen natuurlijk ook in Zuid Afrika plaatsvinden.

Ben eens benieuwd...

Bij het artikel staat een foto van een GT40. Ook de titel spreekt hierover...

Als ze uit Zuid-Afrika komen, kan het niet anders of ze komen van bij CAV.

Toch reeds een teasertje vanop de site.
Ze bouwen niet allen de CAV-GT maar ook de CAV-GTR ...

De eerste is dus onderweg.........het is al bijna 2005. Kan me niet voorstellen dat die klasse in 2005 van start gaat.

Dat hadden we al wel verwacht...

In de papieren versie van TM staat bovendien dat er begin februari een infosessie voor de geïnteresseerd piloten zal plaatsvinden... Allen daarheen
