Sylvie heeft er echter al een positieve test op zitten met de G-Force wagen dus ze mag ook in 't rijtje geplaatst worden hoor.

Inderdaad, wie weet zien we haar wel tijdens Le Mans...

Ahnee, ze heeft nog geen toelating van de ACO.

Ik vrees dus dat je gok niet echt waarheid zal worden, mijn beste Mark .

Het is duidelijk dat de Audi enorm lijdt onder de kleinere restrictor (30 pk minder) en het extra gewicht (50 pk extra).

In 2003 had de R8 nog een topsnelheid van meer dan 320 km/u: Le Mans Trap Speeds 2003
Tijdens de testdagen haalt de Audi nog maar net 310 km/u: Journée Test : Les vitesses de pointe
Naar het schijnt zouden turbomotoren iets harder benadeeld zijn door de wijziging in restrictor voor LMP900 wagens.

Ook in topsnelheid is de Pescarolo redelijk dominant. Dit zijn de enige wagens die vlot over 320 km/u gaan. De 4 hybride LMP1 wagens (Pescarolo en Courage) staan duidelijk bovenaan in het lijstje.

Gwyllion, het extra gewicht is 50kg en geen 50pk vergissen is menselijk hé.

Het is me ook eigenlijk opgevallen dat de Audi R8 hard lijdt onder de kleinere ristrictor en het extra gewicht. Maar iedereen weer dat ze heel betrouwbaar zijn en dat is misschien wel in hun voordeel tegen de Pescarolo en de Courage wagens.

De sfeer ginds in de pitlane was vrij gespannen vond ik, maar dat kan ook een gedacht zijn.

Er hangt natuurlijk veel vanaf he, als de rookies nog moeten kwalificeren. Vooral als er dan problemen zijn met de wagen, zoals bij de Courage van Gforce. Maarja, thats racing zeker.

Voor de rest was het in de paddock rustig vertoeven.

Ik moet eerlijk zeggen dat ik dit tot nu toe het mooiste en meest interessante event vind dat ik ooit bijgewoond heb. Maar dat ligt ook aan het prachtige circuit en het feit dat we "Concurrent"-tickets hadden, dus full access. Ook het uitzicht in de loge was prachtig. DTM komt ook in de buurt.

PS: mag ik vragen wat jouw connectie met GLPK is?

Met wat hulp heb ik gisteren de gallery geupdate met een serie nieuw foto's van afgelopen zondag.

Zoals eerder gemeld was de sfeer in de pitlane idd erg gespannen, op zaterdag was je niet altijd even welkom in de boxen. Er is mij twee keer gevraagd of ik foto's voor Courage aan het maken was ... .
