Aston Martin DBRS9
Prodrive gaat nu ook Aston Martin GT's bouwen voor klanten, de DBRS9. Een stapje lager op de ladder dan de DBR9. Wanneer in de Belcar?

Dat is niet echt een race wagen. Eerder een trackday machine.

en waarom is dat geen racewagen? prodrive gaat er een volwaardige GT2 wagen van maken hoor.

550 pk, 1280 kg, rolkooi idem als de DBR9, carbon deuren en motorkap,...
lijkt me toch redelijk "racing"

Als daar vraag naar is, tenminste. Ik denk dat het vooral bedoeld is voor rijke Engelsmannen die in het weekend wat op het circuit willen knallen. Een pak exclusiever dan de Porsche 911 GT3 RS, BMW M3 CSL, ...

niet dat je er iets op tegen hebt dat iemand met zoiets eran komt rijden zeker?

In deze vorm voldoet de wagen wel niet aan het GT2 reglement.

Kleine bedenking: In de UK heeft er een kampioenschap van de Aston Martin Owners Club. Onder andere Rowan "Bean" Atkinson rijdt daar al jaren in mee met een V8 Vantage Zagato uit de jaren '80.

Zou men deze wagen ook niet naar dat publiek richten?

Trouwens, (sorry, even ) Lotus heeft pas een bangelijke trackday-special gelanceerd.
