De ferme taal van Max M. en FIA-friends is geheel verdwenen..........sterker nog, de teams treft geen enkele blaam. Is die FIA weer vriendjes aan het maken met de teams?

De enige waar de FIA haar gifpijlen nop op kan richten is Michelin. Of daar nog veel kracht achter zit valt nog maar te bezien.............anders heeft de FIA weer mot met de Michelin teams. Daarnaast heeft Michelin al de nodige goodwill laten zien aan de gedupeerden...........

De enigste die strak op zijn bek gaat is de FIA. Grote woorden, geen daden

De teams hebben natuurlijk geen schuld,maar er word niet gesproken van Michelin idd,die gifpijlen zullen ze wel raken.
Nieuwe regel,één bandenleverancier,fia zegt welke ,niet zo moeilijk hoor,tata Michelin...

De FIA begint nu toch langzaam aan ergens in te kruipen waar de zon normaal gesproken niet schijnt, wat een slijmjurken zeg!

Tja ... zo zal het natuurlijk nooit goed zijn ...
Als ze actie willen ondernemen staat half de F1 en de supporters erbij op hun kop.

Onder deze druk doet Michelin een hele emmer water bij de wijn en vergoedt zowat alle gedupeerden zodat F1 in de States op zijn minst terug een kans kan krijgen. dit gecombineert met de punten van de US GP die de teams in kwestie kwijt zijn meent de FIA dat er streng genoeg gestraft is.

==> geen verder vervolging

Komt erbij dat de teams inderdaad weinig te verwijten valt ... Zij zijn door hun strategische keuzes in een staat van overmacht gekomen waarin ze niet veilig konden racen. ==> Hun recht om dat niet te doen

Michelin is en blijft hier de enige schuldige .... maar dat ligt voor de FIA vrij moeilijk omdat de bandenfabrikanten geen contractuele band hebben met de FIA .... enkel met de teams.

De FIA is Mosley niet he. Vaak worden die 2 in één en dezelfde adem vernoemd, maar da's wellicht verkeerdelijk dan. Ik denk dat vooral Mosley's positie hierdoor wat verzwakt is.

Tis nog ni afgelopen. maar wie is eigenlijk "Mr. Michelin"?

Their success had nothing whatever to do with Michelin's debacle in Indianapolis, indeed the final tendering decision was made before the 2005 United Sates Grand Prix.

Ja de FIA heeft hierdoor wel wat van zijn daadkracht verloren vind ik. Maar het is waar de teams treft geen schuld, zij speelden op veilig.

Mr. Michelin is Edouard Michelin, de grote man (of toch één van de 3) van Michelin. Edouard Michelin was gisteren naar Spa gekomen voor die persconferentie en ging daarbij redelijk hard tekeer en dreigde de F1 te verlaten. Allé ja
