FFSA GT 2006, om jaloers van te worden.
De Fransen hebben al enkele jaren een prachtig GT-kampioenschap maar dit jaar is het werkelijk subliem te noemen.
PSI die met een C6R en C5R op toernee gaan, 12 Vipers, 2 Prodrive's 550, Lister Storm, Saleens en (ex-PSI?)Porsche Biturbo's. Vandaag dan het nieuws dat het grote Oreca van start gaat met een Saleen in het kampioenschap. Het rijdersduo komt ons bekend voor, namelijk Soheil Ayari en Bruno Hernandez. Het kampioenschap ziet er inderdaad geweldig uit! De Oreca Saleen is echt sjiek in die livery... En Markus in de C6-R...dat gaat gewoon vuurwerk geven!
Jaja, er staat al zeker een live FFSA'tje op mijn autosportkalender aangevinkt dit jaar...

Voor de fans, vooral Lédenon (29 & 30/4) is goed haalbaar en valt niet samen met andere wedstrijden (BTCS of Belcar). Het circuit ligt op goed 15 kilometer van de luchthaven van Nimes waar Ryanair op vliegt (€150 heen en terug). Bovendien valt maandag 1 mei, een vakantiedag, aansluitend op het weekend. Last but not least is het Zuiden van Frankrijk culinair en klimatologisch ook een meevaller...
Voor de thuisblijvers zal pitstop.tv de Belgen volgen. Kalender: Nogaro: 15 -->17/4 (BTCS Spa) Lédenon: zie hierboven Dijon: 20 & 21/5 (Belcar Zolder) Val de Vienne: 24 & 25/6 Albi: 9 & 10/9 (BTCS Zolder) Le Mans: 14 & 15/10 (BTCS Spa) Magny-Cours 21 & 22/10 (Belcar Zolder) Pau staat enkel voor de GT Série op de kalender vanwege de testdagin Le Mans. 2de 'Vette van SRT zien we 5 van de 7 wedstrijden terug. Ene Bouchut gaat daar aan het stuurtje trekken

De Vipers mogen volgens het Belcar reglement maar tot en met 2006 rijden in ons kampioenschap. Is dit in het FFSA GT ook zo?? Lijkt mij onlogisch want dan zouden ze volgend jaar plotseling 12 GT1 wagens minder hebben...... Iemand een idee of info?
