E.e.a. according to Autosport blad 25-11-04

Onze cowboy van LMSR.net heeft weer nieuws, is die kerel weer boven water?

Naar wat Mario Snor onlangs zei zal er niet al te snel een BMW GT1 te zien zijn. We zullen ons moeten tevreden stellen met de Z4M GTR. Schitterende wagen overigens...

Maar had Cor Euser geen BMW M6 gekocht en was hij niet van plan deze te prepareren? Dat had ik altans een gelezen in een of andere belcar short news begin dit jaar... of eind vorig jaar...
Maar alles zou zo traag gaan in z'n project omdat er nog niets bestaat van race materiaal voor die wagen en hij ook geen steun kreeg van BMW Motorsport...

Weet wel, dat de heer Euser beschikt over een mooie 10jaar oude 7-serie, maar daar zal hij wel niet mee gaan racen , deze staat altijd zo mooi naast zijn tent geparkeerd in de paddock.

@ Viper GTS-R*** en Corvetteboy: Het gaat hier over een BMW M6 GT1 (die er blijkbaar niet snel zal komen). Alle offtopic posts zijn dan ook verwijderd door mij.

Dromen en hopen dat die wagen er toch zal komen mag, dat heeft de maker van bovenstaande photoshop dan ook gedaan. Zou BMW veel interesse hebben in GT wagens? Of gaan ze het houden bij Touring wagens (WTCC)? Zijn er nog nieuwtjes van BMW geweest in de voorbije Autosporten, Mark?

Als we de de Autosporten van de laatste maanden als maatstaf nemen dan is het M6 GT project zo dood als een pier. Zelfs knutselaar Euser heeft zijn project stopgezet. Die heeft in de laatste maanden als tijdvedrijf maar een evo-versie van de Mantis gemaakt.

Voor zover ik in dat beruchte / befaamde magazine heb kunnen lezen is die M6niet voorbij het stadium van een desing-studie gekomen. Voor de klanten heeft BMW de 120D en de Z4, keus genoeg lijkt me............

Wel daar komt nu verandering in lezen we op endurance-info.com
Automatic Racing zet in 2008 een BMW M6 in de GS (GrandSport) klasse in.
