Rossi Gaat een DTM wagen van Mercedes testen in deze weken. Die is wel druk dus met zijn WRC deelnamen en die test de komende weken.

Jamie Melo gaat ook een Mercedes C klasse testen op Hockenheim. Hij heeft al eens getest voor Mercedes en maakte toen een goede indruk, maar uiteindelijk werd toen Hakinnen gekozen.

Paffett zou Hakinnen kunnen vervangen.

Naast vaste Mercedes coureurs Schneider, Green, Stoddart, Lauda en La Rosa ook enkele jongeren die een DTM wagen mogen testen:

Volgens Autosport 30-11 zijn Mercedes en Buurman in een vergevorderd stadium om een krabbel onder een contract te zetten. Buurman zou de plaats innemen van Alesi. Dus een '06 MB bij Persson Motorsport!

Verrassende move van Buurman. Ik had verwacht dat hij, na een succesvol debuut, nog wel een jaar in Brits F3 zou blijven. DTM is natuurlijk wel interessanter voor sponsors dan F3 (al is dat bij Buurman denk ik geen probleem omdat dat toch "inhouse" sponsors zijn , Buurman in een Mercedes met op de zijkant met grote letters Marcos ).

Een sterk gewijzigde kalender. Ze starten eerder het seizoen dan de voorgaande projectkalenders. Brands Hatch is nog een vraagteken. Jammer, geen Le Mans meer.

Problemen met de organisatie? Niets van gemerkt. Och in MAgny-cours kunnen ze ook kegeltjes omver knallen.

Die reis was voor VZW De Paddock een eenmalige (succesvolle) onderneming. Of er in 2007 weer een reis is? Geen idee, daarover heeft het bestuur van de VZW nog geen beslissing genomen.

Wat ik wel weet is dat de ITR(DTM) en de ACO (SRO?) langdurig hebben liggen te rotzooien over dat weekend in Le Mans. Heel wat keren gebeld naar de mensen van de ITR ivm dat weekend. De vriendelijke Duisters gaven aan dat het wel zou doorgaan maar ze konden niks bevestigen. Onder het motto van: "Het blijven Fransen "

Wat heeft SRO nu weer met de ACO van doen behalve dat het FFSA dat weekend ook reed?
