HANS beschermt de nekwervels, voornamelijk tegen een te grote voorwaartse buiging van de hals. Zijdelingse en achterwaartse bewegingen worden door de stoel opgevangen.
Lendenwervels zitten helemaal onderaan in de rug. Kan me niet voorstellen dat een HANS systeem daar iets aan doet. Zal toch toeval zijn.

dit aan HANS wijten is volgens mij niet echt doordacht. HANS is al jàren in gebruik, en is nu in de meeste kampioenschappen verplicht. dat wil zeggen dat er elk weekend een paar duizend man gebruik van maakt. als je dan 3 gelijkaardige letsels op enkele weken tijd eraan gaat wijten, dan klopt er iets niet
