Er zijn er nog die nergens last van hebben Leuke sticker op de AM GT4 De ijsjesfabrikant die ooit een geel/paarse Mini kocht(?) van Qvick is nog steeds actief!

Ginetta toch in GT4:

De Ginetta G50, waarover dit jaar zoveel te doen was, kan volgens Stéphane Ratel in 2009 in GT4 in plaats van in de Sports Light uitkomen. Hierover werd een akkoord met de Engelse constructeur bereikt. Dat is uiteraard ook goed nieuws voor KS Motorsport dat sterk bij de ontwikkeling van de wagen betrokken is. In een eerste reactie keek Koen Leyssens naar een eventueel Europees seizoen uit.

Ik dacht dat SRO per wagen en per klasse een "leverancier"/"dealer" zou aanduiden. Een Lambo GT3 via Reiter, een BMW Z4 GT4 via G&A und so weiter. Bestaat die regel nog?

Ik heb dit artikel paar dagen geleden ook gelezen (dankzij Google translater ) en kwam tot dezelfde conclusie. Nu lees ik onderstaande op de FIA GT4 website (betrekking op de Brno race):

Misschien alleen een test om te kijken waar de Porsche staat t.o.v. de andere wagens? Als men toch verschillende preperateurs per model toe gaat laten vind ik dit geen slimme zet van SRO.

Je moet dus een ombouwsetje kopen bij van Splunteren om in NL deel te nemen voor het Dutch GT4. Zo te zien is een Europese GT4 weer anders............volgt u nog?

En ik maar denken dat je met een gehomologeerde SRO GT3 of GT4 zomaar aan elke SRO race kunt deelnemen.

KTG Racing zet een BMW M3 GT4 in voor regerend Formule Ford-kampioen Simon Knap.
Het Belgische KS Motorsport wil twee exemplaren van de bijzondere Ginetta G50R in het kampioenschap inzetten.
Rhesus Racing komt, zoals bekend, met twee Aston Martins aan de start. De GT’s worden hoogstwaarschijnlijk bestuurd door Paul Vahstal, die afgelopen seizoen al voor het Wijzonol Rhesus Racing Team uitkwam in de Dunlop SportMaxx Clio Cup, en regerend Clio-kampioen Pim van Riet. De Renault Clio van laatstgenoemde staat overigens te koop.
Het Racing Team Holland komt naar alle waarschijnlijkheid met twee Ford Mustangs in actie. De auto’s worden bestuurd door Pieter Christiaan van Oranje, die zijn auto naar verwachting deelt met Hans Hugenholtz, en Bernhard van Oranje. De regerend kampioen in de BMW Drivers Trophy kon nog niet vertellen wie zijn teamgenoot wordt. Bernhard wilde deze plannen het nog even ‘onder de pet houden’, maar zijn teambaas Jan Lammers en presentator Allard Kalff maakten het nieuws op het podium wereldkundig.
Oudgediende Bert Moritz probeert een project met een Chevrolet Camaro van de grond te krijgen. Gecombineerd met andere initiatieven die nog lopen, onder meer rond Corvette, BMW en nogmaals Ginetta, lijkt er een fraai startveld in de pijplijn te zitten.
Men verwacht zo'n 16 auto's aan de start.

Correctie: het artikel over Match Racing spreekt van 2 Ginetta's!

Laten we het hopen! Dutch GT4 is een van de weinige (nieuwe) klassen waar echt positief nieuws te rapen valt. Als we er 3 hebben mogen we al juichen.......en ja meer dan drie? Een natte droom voor organisator, teams en fans lijkt me zo Hopenlijk krijgen we allemaan een nat bed
