Vraagje van een groentje misschien, maar hoe zit het daar met de parkeergelegenheid ? Vorig jaar tijdens onze wandeling en dat evenement met al die Ferrari's hebben we de wagens netjes achter de paddock kunnen parkeren, maar dat zal tijdens dat racefestival wel niet lukken vermoed ik.
Dus waar kan men zich eigenlijk parkeren bij dergelijke grote evenementen (speciale parkings ?) ?

Ik denk nu niet dat dit zo'n "groot" evenement is met "grote" parkeerproblemen. (zo zijn er volgens mij maar 2: 24u en F1)
Als je de afrit Francorchamps neemt: => rij je aan het modelbouwwinkeltje daar naar links => ten einde die straat kom je aan een rond punt (net voorbij "paradis du matelas" & fina tankstation 1) rond punt naar links => in die straat na een 600m (eerste?) rechts => betaalparking (8€) tegenover de grijze tribunes voor de raidillon = 1 minuutje wandelen tot ingang circuit 2) nét voor dat rond punt parkeren (= gratis  ) => 5 minuutjes wandelen tot ingang aan de source (door aan het rond punt rechtdoor te gaan. met de wagen mag je daar niet door, want voorzien voor de VIP's)Als je de volgende afrit neemt: => kan je gaan parkeren op het grasveldje achter de combes => vlak aan ingang van de combes Last edited by Bart; 06-09-2002 at 10:03.

het zal dus niet nodig zijn om bv in combes te gaan parkeren en langs daar binnen te gaan denken jullie? gewoon de P1 en P2 proberen?
ik ga alleszins kijken naar het volk dat op de been is en als ik aan de afrit nog geen problemen heb zet ik mij op p1, allee, dan ga ik dat proberen hé

Die hoofdparking is een serieus ding hoor, daar kan veel volk op... Goeie vraag natuurlijk of deze Belcar/FIA race inderdaad niet voor wat drukte zou zorgen... Niets van aantrekken en gewoon parkeren waar er plaats is :-)

Tijdens de Euroraces hebben we met alle gemak 2 mobilhomes op de parking achter de hoofdtribune weggezet. In de loop van de dag haddenb we de auto gewoon tussen de rest gezet,s'avonds hebben we dan de mobilhomes bij elkaar gezet achteraan op de parking. We stonden daar s'avonds echt helemaal alleen.
( Parking "STER" ). Als je niet ver wil tippelen kan je op deze parking tot vlak achter de hoofdtribune aan Eau Rouge geraken. Wil je wat meer rust (met een mobilhome dus) ,zet je de wagen achteraan op de parking. Parking is wel niet goedkoop, als ik me niet vergis was dit 10 € voor het week-end. Tip, als je met een grote wagen of een mobil-home gaat, neem dan een fiets mee ! Je kan op die manier lekker vrij rondhotsen op Franco. Een tripje vanuit Eau Rouge naar Stavelot of Blanchimont is met de fiets 10', te voet ben je al gauw een half uur onderweg. Onderschat wel de Raidillion niet, dat paadje ernaast richting Combes is niet van de poes om op te klimmen. Maar bergaf,....... ho maar , een goede bel is op dat moment essentieel !! Je loopt wel de kans dat je bij het binnenkomen aan de ticketcontrole zo een dienstklopper tegenkomt die je met de fiets terugstuurt hadden wij ook op de Euroraces). Probeer die kerel dan eerst in je beste vlaams duidelijk te maken dat hij een k**k*n is; lukt dat niet, zeg vriendelijk goeiedag, draai gewoon terug en pak andere toegang (wij zijntoen via de ingang aan de VIP binnengeraakt). Allemaal een tof week-end ginder !!

P1 en P2 is nooit en probleem tijdens zulke races.
Zelfs met de combinatie FIA/Belcar moet het wel lukken.

The world's most spectacular sportscars converge on arguably the world's most spectacular circuit next weekend as the 6th round of the FIA Sportscar Championship visits Spa Francorchamps in Belgium. The 4.329 mile circuit is rich in sportscar heritage having held the famous 1000kms event from 1966 until 1988, during which period racing legends such as Jacky Ickx, Brian Redman, Jo Siffert and Derek Bell emerged victorious in classic sportscars such as Ford GT40's, Porsche 917's and the Ferrari 312PB. Now the FIA Sportscar Championship and the Royal Automobile Club De Spa have reignited the former glory of the Spa 1000kms with the announcement earlier this year that the classic event will return in 2003. Competitors, media and fans alike can get a feel for this prestigious race next weekend when a two and a half round of the Championship will see modern day sportscar greats such Jan Lammers and Mauro Baldi taking on a new breed of sportscar hero in the shape of F3000 champion elect Sebastien Bourdais, Belgium's very own Val Hillebrand and 'Super Swede' Thed Bjork. A full grid is guaranteed for the race that could see both SR1 and SR2 Championships settled on the undulating Ardennes track. While the Jan Lammers led Racing For Holland squad have a healthy lead in SR1, sportscar legend Henri Pescarolo will be fighting tooth and nail to ensure that his driver, former Sauber F1 racer - Jean Christophe Boullion still has a chance to snatch the crown. Plaats, uur van afspraak ?
Misschien praktischer als er enkele telefoonnummers worden neergepleurd, zodat we elkaar op die manier kunnen contacteren ? Ik kom in ieder geval enkel zaterdag of zondag. Wat lijkt volgens jullie de beste optie ? Als ik met de auto ga kan ik eventueel iemand meenemen indien nodig (i.e. ingeval van echt hondenweer, zo niet neem ik een ander vervoersmiddel).
