Dat weet ik nog zo niet.
Elk jaar duiken er vlak voor het seizoen begint nog wel wat teams en wagens op, waar je tijdens de winterperiode niets van gehoord hebt. Dat zal dit jaar ook wel zo zijn.
Ik denk dat we de volgende weken nog enkele verrassingen mogen verwachten.

Kurt Mollekens, Vincent Vosse en Fred Bouvy hebben hun krachten gebundeld voor de oprichting van Ecurie GT/Endurance, een nieuwe renstal die vooral actief zal zijn in de GT-racerij. Het team van het Belgische trio heeft het budget rond voor de Belcar en werkt hard om ook een seizoen FIA GT rond te krijgen.

Kurt Mollekens is bijzonder actief geweest de afgelopen winter en de Ecurie GT/Endurance is één van de vruchten van die bedrijvigheid. In de Belcar komt de Ecurie uit met een Porsche GT2 biturbo, die we vorig seizoen bij ons al aan het werk zagen. De Porsche komt uit de stal van PSI.

Mollekens: "Op de Porsche gaan Vincent en Fred rijden. Ik kom erbij als derde rijder voor de 4 uren tijdens de Spa Euro Race en voor de 24 Uren van Zolder."

De potente Porsche en de homogeniteit onder de rijders maakt van de Ecurie een titelkandidaat en te duchten tegenstander voor de Vipers en de Corvette.

In het lijstje heb ik ooit eens een wagen van PSI er tussen gezet........stond in de Turbo. Gevoelsmatig denk ik dat we over dezelfde wagen spreken. Heb PSI vervangen door Ecurie GT/Endurance........

Kijk dan maar eens vlug bij wat ze vertelden over de traing van gisteren, daar heeft een zekere Laurent wat mooie foto's genomen. Laurent is onze boxverantwoordelijke hé, hij moest weten hoe groot de Seat was voor de boxindeling

Dan moete ze toch héél rap zijn ze. De Corvette draaide gister in Zolder ne 1:29

Eerder maakte ik op gezag van Hezemans Sr. melding van het feit dat Hezemans ook met een Ferrari zou gaan rijden. Inmiddels is het duidelijk dat een gang naar Belcar onwaarschijnlijk is geleze het persbericht:

Barron Connor Racing heeft ook de bezetting van de tweede wagen voor elkaar. Naast rijder en mede-oprichter John Bosch, de al eerder aangekondigde Thomas Biagi en Danny Sullivan, is het team uitgebreid met voormalig Le Mans winnaar Jean-Denis Deletraz, Mike Hezemans en de regerend Europees Ferrari 360 kampioen Ange Barde.

Barron Connor Racing zal gaan rijden met twee Ferrari’s 575 GTC en uitkomen in de 12 uur van Sebring, de 24 uren van Le Mans en alle Le Mans Endurance Series races.

De Ferrari zal mogelijk wel enige testritten in Zolder afwerken.
Misschien in de voorbereidingen een keer als guest in Belcar?

Meer een vraag van "Please" en op de knieen....
Het antwoord voorlopig niet meer dan een brede glimlach.
Maar 5 juni zou wel een mooie datum zijn, toch?

Maar niks concreet dus wel zullen het er in deze thread niet meer over hebben voordat dat (hopenlijk) wel zo is.
