hah het laatste nieuwe gerucht:
volgend jaar zouden er nog steeds 4 vectras mee rijden in de dtm, ze zouden onderhouden worden door opc.. en het de team naam zou iets met rosberg erin zijn.... wie weet zal het in het tijdens het laatste DTM weekend duidelijker worden (hoop ik toch)

Maar ik denk eigenlijk dat Audi vanwege hun Le Mans project niet echt geinteresseerd is in het inzetten van zoveel wagens komend seizoen.
In de paddock op de Hockenheimring was uiteraard seizoen 2006 het onderwerp van gesprek. GM blijft bij zijn veto om de Opels in 2006 in te zetten. Dat ziet er dus niet fraai uit............echter er bestaat een kans dat MB en Audi ieder meer wagens gaan inzetten. Beetje zoals de V8's in Australië.

Of dat doorgaat is nog maar de vraag want Norbert Haug is toch voorzichtig met zijn uitspraken over seizoen 2006. DTM 2006 is nog lang geen zekerheid........een deal met de ARD/ZDF voor 2006 is er ook nog niet

„Die Entscheidung, keine Opel Vectras GTS V8 für die Saison 2006 an Privatteams zum Einsatz freizugeben, wurde vom Vorstand der Adam Opel AG bestätigt. Die DTM-Dachorganisation ITR wurde über die Gespräche informiert.“, sagte Opel-Sportchef Volker Strycek. Opel hatte in fünf Jahren und 51 DTM-Rennen in Folge keinen Sieg feiern könnnen.

De kans dat die deal met de ARD/ZDF gesloten zal worden wordt met de dag kleiner. E.e.a. heeft te maken met de media-wetgeving in Duitsland. Als je maar twee merken van hetzelfde produkt in een uitzending kunt noemen dan heb je een boete aan je kont hangen. Er zijn minstens drie merken nodig om deze wet te omzeilen. Deze uitleg staat te lezen in de Start van de maand november.

2006 en DTM, ik zie het er niet meer van komen

Weet je wat er zo zielig is in dit hele verhaal? Dat de geschiedenis zich herhaalt! In Duitsland leert men blijkbaar nooit uit de fouten van het verleden.
DTM - Of hoe een ezel zich toch tweemaal aan dezelfde steen kan stoten!

2 nieuwe circuits, zijnde Barcellona en Brands Hatch, geen verplaatsing meer naar Istanbul en China, en eveneens geen poging meer om naar Avignon of Moskou te gaan.

Magny-Cours en vooral Monaco
Dat zouden maar liefst 6 F1 circuits zijn waar ze op gaan rijden!

Maar die datum voor Spa valt zwaar tegen seg, 't zijn dan weer examens natuurlijk

De F3 reed dit jaar ook al in Monaco, denk niet dat we de DTM daar gaan terugvinden. Ja Spa in juni, vind ik ook niet sympathiek maar ja dan ga ik wel naar Duitse races kijken

Hakinen heeft zijn contract verlengd met een jaar en zal dus volgend jaar opnieuw in een Mercedes DTM wagen rijden.

Daar werd normaalgezien het hele motorsport programma voor 2006 uit de doeken gedaan. Nog zo veel vragen:
  • blijft Audi als fabrieksteam in DTM of neemt Abt de deelname terug over?
  • met welke piloten? wat doet Ekstrom volgend jaar?
  • wie stapt er over naar LMP prototype racing (naast Kristensen en McNish)? Kafer opnieuw?
  • wanneer zien we de Audi R10 diesel voor het eerst? al in Sebring?
  • door wel team zal die gerund worden? Joest?
  • doen ze het volledige LMS kampioenschap mee of enkel gastdeelnames?
  • krijgt Champion de nieuwe wagen? doen ze nog enkele races met R8 wat in principe volgend jaar nog kan in ALMS
  • ...

Ook benieuwd of Skoda opnieuw als fabrieksteam aan WRC deelneemt. En of er inderdaad een prive team komt met Red Bull sponsoring, gerund door Armin Schwarz.

Het programma van Seat Sport (gigantisch WTCC campagne) en Volkswagen (ultieme poging om Dakar 2006 te winnen) zijn gelukkig al duidelijk.

Ekstrom heeft in het verleden te kennen gegeven dat hij wil overstappen van touringwagens naar rally. Misschien zien we Ekstrom dus volgend jaar in een Skoda.
