Fantastisch nieuws: Oreca gaat 2 Saleens inzetten in Le Mans. Het zal zeer spannend worden dit jaar in GT1 met Prodrive die opnieuw Corvette zal willen verslaan en nu gaat Oreca zich er ook mee bemoeien.

Die zullen wel uitgenodigd worden voor de pre-kwalificatie. Benieuwd of het lijstje met inschrijvingen dit jaar over de 100 gaat.

Ik had eerder verwacht dat Oreca een nieuwe Viper zou ontwikkelen.

Hmmm, leuk nieuws........het enige "Nederlandse" team buiten Racing For Holland met ervaring in open sportscars is het team van MP Motorsports. Die hebben dit jaar met een Norma gereden in het Frans VdeV kampioenschap.

Volgens de Autosport van 05-01-06 gaat die weer een jaartje knallen in de TGP-serie. De ex-Villeneuve Ferrari 312T3 gaat hij inruilen voor een ex-Scheckter 312T4. De T3 zou nog eenmaal worden ingezet tijdens de Historic GP in Monaco.

Die naam was ook in mijn gedachten gekomen, echter na 1 jaar VdeV (of hebben ze meer ervaring?) al overstappen naar LMP2 lijkt me snel. Bovendien is het volgens mij geen team met veel financiele middelen. Kan natuurlijk ook zijn dat een coureur de wagen koopt en deze laat onderhouden door MP Motorsport (of een ander team).
