Sterker nog, meneer Judd heeft reeds met een DTM wagen getest op Estoril. Waarschijnlijk samen met Jaapie van Lagen. Maar een terugkeer voor 2006 zit er niet in:

In een interview met een Zweedse krant zegt Mathias Ekstrom dat hij nog geen contract getekend heeft met Audi voor 2006.

Als Ekstrom al geen contract aangeboden heeft gekregen dan zie ik het somber in voor het DTM.

Die 2006 zal wel een typo zijn; ik denk dat hij 2005 bedoelt.

Kristensen, Ekstrom en Kaffer kunnen wel zowel in DTM als in prototype ingezet worden. Raar dat ze McNish ook nog niet getekend hebben voor volgend jaar.

Hopelijk wordt tijdens de voorstelling van de R10 meer duidelijk.

Nou, eigenlijk was gisteren het DTM 2006 een bekeken en verloren zaak:

jaja de geschiedenis gaat zich herhalen...
dtm doekt op,er komt een vervangend kamioenschap met lichtere auto's (btcc/wtcc) en dan binne 5 jaar probere ze opnieuw.. (zo zie ik het)
eigelijk wel fijn een beetje afwisseling enzo

Volgens een bericht op de teletekst van Sat1 is de zaak reeds bekeken voor Audi. De voorsprong van MB is in hun ogen te groot...........of zijn ze de Mercedes Benz papegaai ITR beu?

Wat mij betreft is DTM 2006 nu echt een verloren zaak, zie dit stukje:

Een machtspelletje tussen MB en Audi. ITR mag geen MB-bolwerk meer zijn volgens Audi. Powerplay op hoog nivo waarbij Audi het zaakje kan laten ploffen op een manier die gunstig is voor Audi en waarbij Aufrecht, ome Nobbie en MB zwaar op hun gezicht krijgen

Dat DTM ploft lijkt me eigenlijk onafwendbaar met deze powerplay. Of is er nog een kans dat Abt als priveteam enkele prive A4's inzet en daarme DTM nog enigzins in leven houdt? Persoonlijk denk ik dat Audi hier een wel stokje voor zal steken om Mercedes extra te stangen (en Abt als compensatie b.v. een "fabrieks" Audi A4 VLN project te laten runnen).

maar als audi nu nog moet beginnen met de 2006 wagens beginnen hebbe ze toch eigelijk te veel achterstand.. ??
dtm wordt wie weet mercedes c-klasse cup

Gevonden op een ander forum. In de Autohebdo van de vorige week staat een verhaaltje dat Audi op slinkse wijze richting F1 wil gaan. Minardi is verkocht aan Red Bull en heet Scuderia Toro Rosso. In 2007 zou dan het zaakje worden doorgeschoven naar Audi.

Tja, de links tussen Audi en Red Bull zijn er wel. Die DTM-wagens hingen vol met stickers van Red Bull. De man achter de schermen? Gerhard Berger.

Mocht dat verhaal waar zijn dan is de DTM uiteraard helemaal passé. Iemand die het artikel heeft gelezen?
