Opvallend dat de achterkant horizontaler is dan het oude model.

Ik denk dat Mitsubishi dit jaar een sterke tegenstander krijgt in de vorm van VW. VW doet er alles aan om de rally te winnen.

Nog steeds Toyota RAV4 look. De vorige keer werd ook al een Lexus V8 gebruikt (in plaats van de diesel vroeger).

Wel extreem breed (12 cm breder dan vorige keer).

Henrard heeft z'n eerste meters met de race Touareg er op zitten.
Alles verliep vlot, hij was onder de indruk van de vierwielaandrijving, het koppel en de ophanging.


Net zoals vroeger rijd Henrard weer in de kleuren van z'n vertrouwde sponsor Duvel.

Het Loomans team zou met twee race wagens aan de start verschijnen! 2 Bowlers? of een Bowler en z'n Mercedes?

We mogen een PC Hooft-tractor verwachten in de Dakar. Robby Gordon zal voor Team Dakar USA uitkomen met een HUMMER H3 race truck deelnemen aan de Dakar.

Althans, hij zal eruit zien als een Hummer...........onderhuids zal het een "Baja truck" zijn. Meer info binnenkort op http://www.teamdakarusa.com/

Zoals op www.ad-sport.be te zien is zullen er 2 van deze nieuwe RAV's meedoen. Bij "teams" zie je wie er allemaal meegaat en om welke voertuigen het gaat.

ellen lohr presenteert Mercedes
Ellen Lohr, o.a voormalig DTM gaat wederom naar dakar.
Dit keer niet met 2drive buggy maar met de proto van Mercedes.
Alles lijkt tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Unimog in de race, Actross als backup.

De eerste beelden van de Hummer H3 Dakar:






Prestart in Brussel is verplaatst naar 18 december ipv 26 december.
Voor de deelnemers en volgteams is het bijna niet te doen om na de prestart meteen door te rijden naar lissabon en daar op tijd aan te komen.

De wagen van AD-Sport heeft vandaag zijn eerste meters gereden. Wel op de parking van AD maarja.
