Tweede evenement misschien voorprogamma LMS op spa.

Kans op meer live uitzendingen in 2010 3a4 keer leuk voor de sponsors.

Vanaf komend seizoen wordt er naast het algemene kampioenschap van het Dutch GT4 ook gestreden om de zogehete ‘Legend Cup’, waarvan de topdrie van iedere race na afloop in de podiumceremonie wordt gehuldigd. Iedere deelnemer boven de 45 jaar wordt als ‘legend’ bestempeld en ingedeeld in deze klasse. Maar ook rijders van 45 jaar of jonger kunnen het verzoek indienen om in de subdivisie uit te komen. Ter illustratie: als de ‘Legend Cup’ afgelopen seizoen al ingevoerd was, zou Paul van Splunteren de GT4-Legend geworden zijn, gevolgd door Allard Kalff en Pim van Riet. De ‘Gentleman Cup’ zal vanaf volgend jaar verdwijnen.

GT4 schema
Het weekendschema van het Dutch GT4 is komend seizoen iets gewijzigd. De kwalificaties zullen vanaf heden, naar Europees voorbeeld, kort achter elkaar gehouden worden. Na de eerste sessie van twintig minuten volgt een pauze van tien minuten, waarna direct de tweede kwalificatie (eveneens twintig minuten) van start gaat. Het raceschema blijft onveranderd.

Waarom van 'Gentlemen Cup' switchen naar een 'Legend Cup'? Beetje raar. Professioneel vs gentlemen is veel logischer.

Verschuur schiet met scherp op SRO, en wat mij betreft vol in de roos!

Te lezen in de laatste Start van het jaar 2009: Cor Euser heeft een Pontiac Solstice Coupe gekocht voor sportieve (GT4) doeleinden.

Ziet er niet slecht uit:

Corvette, Chevrolet Camaro en Pontiac Solstice...GM krijgt groot marktaandeel in GT4, al gaat Pontiac natuurlijk op houden te bestaan dus de Solstice's zullen wel een koopje zijn geweest.

Is het dan de bedoeling dat Cor Euser dan toch naar Dutch GT4 komt.
Dan moet de auto toch eerst door de keuring van de SRO
met de MG is het niet gelukt.

Uit dat stukje valt wel op te maken dat Euser bezig is met een team voor de GT4. Euser noemde het potentieel van deze klasse "goud" maar gaf wel als wijze les mee dat iedereen de neuzen dezelfde kant moet uitsteken

Het wordt de Camaro er zijn voorlopig al 2 autos onderweg deze zullen
geprepareerd worden door Frans Verschuur.
